Fitness classes schedule:

All of our land fitness classes take place in person at Lakeside Family Fitness at 39 S State Street.

Gym Plus members are invited to attend any of the classes on the schedule in unlimited capacity. Standard Gym members can pay the drop-in fees for any fitness classes. Visitors can also pay drop-in fee and attend a class of their choice. Current drop-in charge is $10.00 per person per class, $7.50 for students.

Swim lessons are starting with a new 8-week session the week of January 18th, 2024.

Martial Arts has classes scheduled every Monday & Wednesday at 4:15pm and Saturday at 12:00pm.

Tumbling is on hold due to instructor Alyssa being on maternity leave with her 1st baby. Please call 231-873-3566 to add the name of your child to the waiting list and we will contact you with any updates.

Punch card sale! Buy 6 or 12-punch card and attend your choice of fitness classes at your convenience. You can use a punch from the punch card to attend a land fitness class, aquatic class, gym or open swim.


Cardio intensity of each class is marked under the class description. Single flame means the lowest intensity and five flame correspondents with high intensity class.

Strong Nation class combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been specifically designed to match every single move. Mixed Martial Arts

A class for all ages to learn martial arts and exercise! Students can earn belts as they learn discipline and build self-confidence. Certified Martial Arts instructor, Sifu Alan Snow is long-time student of late Grand Master of Martial Arts, Ray Johnson. Sifu Alan has many years of experience teaching students at all levels and ages. If you are interested in furthering your martial arts training for personal or competitive purposes Sifu Alan is an excellent choice. Draw on his extensive knowledge and experience in competitive martial arts to improve your personal technique.

  • 3 introductory Sessions– Beginners- Basic Self Defense Techniques.
  • 3 Month Sign Up– Receive 1st Certificate of Training (Orange Belt)

  • 1 Year Sign Up- Receive Certificate of Training per each belt earned (Up to Blue Belt or Green Belt, depending on accomplishments)

Hot Yoga Class

Join Certified Yoga instructor, Cindy Beth Davis-Dykema in our Hot Yoga studio for Hot Yoga class. Please bring a towel to put on the floor while you are exercising, water bottle and a small towel to wipe your face during the class. Hot Yoga studio is heated to minimum of 99F and it’s a controlled humidity environment. Prepare to sweat. Certain health conditions prevent attending Hot Yoga class.
