Lakeside Rehab has an individualized approach to your treatment plan, we work closely with your doctor to make sure you are getting precisely the help that you need to improve and heal.

Physical Therapy

Lakeside Physical Therapy treats and manages physical disabilities, injuries, pain associated with the whole body.  Treatments can involve exercises, massage, hydrotherapy, and others. Treatment plans are individualized and are tailored to your specific needs.

Occupational Therapy

Lakeside Occupational Therapy is a profession focusing on the physical, psychological, cognitive aspects of illness and injury.  Our occupational therapy staff specializes in injuries of the upper extremity and neck, including acquired brain injuries such as stroke recovery and traumatic brain injuries.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is the manipulation of superficial and deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue using various techniques, to enhance function, aid in the healing process, decrease muscle reflex activity, inhibit motor-neuron excitability, and promote relaxation and well-being. Lakeside Rehab Massage Therapists are all medical massage therapists.

Home Assessment

A comprehensive home site visit. Our Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist, or both will look at safety at your home, determine the need for durable medical equipment and adaptive devices to help you to get back on your feet.

Wheelchair Fittings

We will measure and fit you with a wheelchair that meets your needs. We will work with most vendors and most insurances that provide coverage for your new chair.

Home Visits / Hospital Visits

If you cannot attend Out-Patient therapy in our office and live in the surrounding Oceana County areas, we can provide physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy services in your home or hospital.  The reason to be seen at your home is currently not driving or low endurance for attending Out-Patient therapy.

On site Vendors – Cash and Carry

We will supply you with crutches, canes, hand/leg/elbow braces and splints, TENS units, hot/cold packs right at our facility thanks to the following vendors: HomeTown Pharmacy, Mercy Health, Air Care, etc.

Nutrition & Diet Education

Have you been diagnosed with a condition or disease that could be better managed with diet? Or are you interested in learning about how to lose weight or perhaps just desiring to eat healthier? Diet trends and food fads are everywhere and seemingly constantly changing that one may wonder what to do!
